Rutledge statement on shootings at Fort Hood, Texas
FOREST HILL, Maryland - Republican U.S. Senate candidate Jim Rutledge released the following
statement regarding Thursday's shootings at Fort Hood, Texas:
"Like all Americans, I'm deeply troubled and saddened by the senseless violence perpetrated today on
unsuspecting heroes at Fort Hood. I would like to extend my most heart-felt sympathies to the families of
those who were tragically killed and wounded while bravely awaiting deployment in service to and
protection of the United States. Their work defending this nation will not be forgotten."
