Rutledge U.S. Senate Campaign Releases Statement on Filing FEC Quarterly Report

FOREST HILL, Maryland - In accordance with federal law, U.S. Senate Candidate for Maryland, Jim Rutledge, has filed the required campaign financial statement with the Federal Elections Commission (FEC). While FEC quarterly reports provide value in bringing transparency to bear in elections, they do not tell the whole story.

Since announcing his candidacy, Jim Rutledge, has predominately focused his time traveling around Maryland mobilizing his volunteer support and sharing his commitment to stand up to career Washington, D.C. politicians. He will fight for less taxes, keep the federal government off the backs of Marylanders and entrepreneurs, protect U.S. sovereignty, the right to bear arms, and family values.

A native Marylander who grew up on a beef cattle farm, Jim has never shied away from the hard-work required for success, and his life is proof of that. Jim’s experience includes handling many high-level legal cases in the private sector and as a prosecutor. In his courtroom work, Jim often battled abuses of government power. More recently, Jim has spent the past 10 years building from scratch a successful law firm in the heart of Jarrettsville. Jim is now applying that same drive and tenacity for success to his campaign efforts. And it is paying off.

Having just recently launched his candidacy, the outpour of voter support has been humbling and exceeded expectations. Now having a solid base of support to build from, the Rutledge Campaign is in a stronger position to take the campaign to the next level and pursue the necessary financial resources to go all the way.

"As my latest FEC quarterly report reflects, my aim was to spend my time going around the State to address and win over Maryland voters, and I intentionally did not place a strong emphasis on being the financial frontrunner this time around", said Jim Rutledge. "That is why it would be a political miscalculation to jump to any conclusions based alone on these quarterly figures. When it is all said and done, I am quite confident I will be the Republican candidate and the next U.S. Senator of Maryland".
